I had an outdoor wedding ceremony on probably the hottest day of our summer so far, and I thought I would share some tips on how to manage the heat and make sure your guests are enjoying the day without getting overheated or burned.

It's a good question and to be honest, by the time I get to the ceremony venue, I'm so focussed on getting set up and making sure everything is as ready as possible, I'm not nervous at all!

One thing to consider when you are looking at or considering venues, is the time of day your wedding will take place. Most weddings take place in the afternoon, however, if you are willing to consider a time outside of this popular afternoon spot, there may be savings to be made.

Celebration is one way of making a statement, making something public and involving your community. Celebration and Ceremony has been part of all cultures for millennia and will continue to be for millennia to come. For some, that is daunting, however, it also underpins how interconnected we all are, through many generations and across continents.
